APRO, the world leading supplier of NAND Flash Storages for industrial & military applications, is pleased to announce PHANES-K Series MLC M.2 2242 / 2280 SATA III SSD (MDS).
PHANES-K Series MLC M.2 2242 / 2280 SATA III SSD (MDS) provides high capacity flash memory Solid State Drive (SSD) that electrically complies with SATA Revision 3.1 standard and also fully compliant with the standard Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF) called M.2 Card Format, which is generated by Intel.
PHANES-K Series MLC M.2 2242 / 2280 SATA III SSD (MDS) supports several advance flash management features, including S.M.A.R.T, Trim and Native Command Queuing (NCQ) which is designed to improve performance and reliability as the transactional workload increases on SATA SSD.
In addition, the LDPC (Low Density Parity Check) error correcting code (ECC) has been implemented on the PHANES-K SERIES MLC M.2 2242 / 2280 SATA III SSD (MDS), leading to a massive reduction in data errors and an equal increase in data integrity.
The APRO MLC M.2 SATA III SSD PHANES-K provides advanced Static and Dynamic Wear Leveling algorithm, which can efficiently spread out the flash usage through the whole flash media area. Moreover, by implementing both dynamic and static Wear Leveling algorithms, the life expectancy of the NAND flash is greatly improved.
PHANES-K Series MLC M.2 2242 / 2280 SATA III SSD (MDS) reaches high sequential read/write speed of 550.0 MB/sec (Max.) and 490.0 MB/sec (Max.). The Standard Grade supports an operating temperature from 0°C to +70°C. As an option, the whole series also supports a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C to be used in harsh environments.
The available capacities are as follows:
PHANES-K MLC M.2 2242 SATA III SSD: 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB
PHANES-K MLC M.2 2280 SATA III SSD: 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB
About M.2 2242 / 2280 SATA SSD
M.2, known as the Next Generation Form Factor, NGFF, provides mobile computing devices an excellent data saving performance with ultra-compact size and lightweight. M.2 SATA standard allows module 2242 with widths of 22 mm and length of 42 mm, and 2280 with widths of 22 mm and length of 80 mm.
The M.2 SATA III module provides small form-factor, scalable capacity SSD storage for datacenter servers, networking, storage equipment, gaming systems, embedded device, and other particular storage configuration needs.
