APRO introduces industrial grade SD Memory Cards

Taipei, Taiwan, April 14, 2009—APRO, a leading and professional manufacturer of Industrial NAND Flash products, today announced a new product line of industrial grade secure digital (SD) memory cards.  APRO industrial grade SD memory cards are manufactured with NAND-SLC flash IC and specifically designed to meet the security, performance, and environmental requirements of significant applications including networking, telecommunications and data-communications, mobile and embedded computing, medical instruments and industrial computing.

APRO industrial grade SD memory cards work with single level cell (SLC) flash IC which is suitable in the harsh environment and severe applications and withstand 10,000 inserting cycles, 10N bending, 1.15N torque, 1.5M fee fall and also high reliability.  “Since SLC flash products are high durability and support temperature from -40 up to 85C, and SD cards are specific for application in which the storage should be small and compact, combining both advantage of SLC and SD features, APRO industrial grade SD memory cards are optimal for industrial solutions”, indicated by Andy Lin, APRO Marketing Manager.
